Kiwi wanted to fly. Kiwi wanted to fly. Sadly, he realized he'd never be able to. So he watched the other birds soar past him and cried. I worked on this image off and on the week I was so sick. I was thinking it might be the last image I ever had the opportunity to make, and its horribly depressing. I worked on it bit by bit with shaky hands. Drawing the leaves helped me sort of focus on something that wasn't pain. |
