Woodless graphite and Ebony Pencil. 5-6 hours. About 10 inches by 11 inches wide. That's not exact, but should be close. I drew this for Advanced Drawing class as part of my 20 piece portfolio for the semester.

Photo reference that I used to draw this from is from a phenomenal Polish photograph, Kowalik. Standard freehand, no graphing. I had to darken the levels in Photoshop to get rid of that graphite shine from scanning. Used with permission for study purposes and portfolio.

wonderfull really, i couldn't do it myself. I wouldn't even get a result close to that.
And that only with a pencil and paper.

Wow, excellent! You did an awesome job with the realistic-ness, and I like the depth. Love the shading and shadows...<3 they definitely add to the piccy. =)
